Once Your Order is Placed
I cannot change your address.
I cannot change the size/color of your shoe order (I begin cutting as soon as the shop closes to orders)
I do not refund orders.
All sale items are FINAL SALE.
USPS Shipping & Tracking
D&F is NOT responsible for lost mail. All orders will receive a tracking number and will be shipped within three days of receiving an email notification to the address provided. Once packages have been received at the USPS, D&F will no longer be responsible. We are happy to help you trace a package if needed, however, we will not replace shoes as a result of lost mail. For this reason, Priority mail is an option, and does include insurance. To make a claim, you must do so through USPS.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please carefully measure your child's foot and double check shoe size selections as we DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.
We will EXCHANGE shoes if needed, however, you will be responsible for shipping costs.
Please visit PRODUCT EXCHANGE in our shop to complete the product exchange form.
Due to the nature and dying process of leather, some colors may bleed on to socks and/or skin. The dye will not harm your child, but may be an annoyance if, for example, your baby is wearing light colored socks with dark shoes. Please test a small area prior to wearing the article of clothing with your D&F shoes. D&F is not responsible for any damages to articles of clothing.
Furthermore, D&F is not responsible for damage that occurs to our shoes after they have been worn. Leather will naturally scuff, obtain marks, or lose its finish as your baby crawls, walks, and/or plays.
Please check all buttons and shoe laces on your shoes to make sure that they are secure. Loose parts can be a choking hazard. Some of our shoes contain small parts such as snaps, wooden beads, elastic, and small leather pieces which can be a choking hazard. Please be advised that your child should be supervised at all times to ensure their safety while wearing their D&F shoes. If a piece should become loose, please discontinue use until you have securely attached the piece that has become loose.
As a small handmade business, I design, prepare, create, and hand package all of my products just for you! This requires time, and I want to get it right. The FOUR week processing window ensures that I will provide you with a good quality product that I can be proud of, and am confident you will enjoy. SHOES WILL SHIP BY the date specified in the policy agreement at checkout.
Each and every shoe is handcrafted in the United States by a mom, just like you! We want you to shop with confidence! We hand inspect and measure all shoes for accuracy before they head out the door, however, as with all handcrafted items, there may be some variance (which may be up to 1/8" difference.)
If your baby shoes should become soiled, it is best to wash them with a gentle cloth and mild soap and water. It is ideal that your baby's moccasins/shoes be worn in dry conditions. If they become wet it is recommended that you reshape them and allow them to dry completely before using again. The leather may become stiff. Some of our leathers are in their natural state and will patina over time. Variation and markings are a natural and beautiful part of cowhide leather.
